I grew up here in Redding and have always had a love for sports. My favorite was cross country, where my coaches taught me that the mind is more powerful than you can imagine and that your thoughts and mindset often dictate your success more than your training. I love being active in Redding. You’ll often find me at the gym, mountain biking, hiking, or out at the lake paddleboarding and fishing. During the winter, I take every chance I get to go snowboarding. After going through my journey of regulating my hormones, fixing my relationship with food, and maintaining a weight loss of almost 100 pounds for 3 years, I'm committed to helping others do the same. After a lifetime of being misled by the latest fad diets, cutting calories to unhealthy levels, and constantly dieting, I found myself letting food control my life while still feeling incredibly unhappy with my body. I was constantly tired and caught in a cycle of restricting myself followed by binge eating. Eventually, I gave up. My mental health reached its lowest point, and my body fat percentage hit an all-time high. I vividly remember talking to a nutrition coach who told me that eating healthy "isn't hard" and that they barely think about it anymore despite maintaining a year-round six-pack. It took me years to realize that he was right. Despite my efforts, I simply didn't have the right knowledge at the time. My coach helped me retrain my brain, unlearn all the harmful "nutrition tips" I had picked up, and heal my relationship with food. I started focusing on making consistently healthier choices every day and I began to see real change. After 4 years of maintaining a 100-pound weight loss and educating myself even further, I'm ready to help others achieve the same results! Nutrition and fitness don't have to be hard. Your goals are achievable and sustainable when you focus on daily habits!
