CrossFit level 1 certification
I grew up in a very active family. Played sports, as far back as I can remember. After graduating high school, I coached Varsity volleyball, were I first found my passion for coaching. I have throughout the years tried different gyms, personal trainers and diets. I found CrossFit in 2013 and immediately fell in love. From there my passion for this type of training grew and I knew that I wanted to coach/train in this type of environment.
In 2013 I retired from racing women’s motocross professionally. I needed something to fill that void. It was a real eye opener when i saw the gap between men/ women’s sports in every aspect. I needed something that was going to push me, and i needed the team environment. That’s were CrossFit came into my life. I started shortly after and fell in love with the high intensity training combined with the functional movements.
I am a single mom to a beautiful 6 year old daughter, Layla. She is the reason I do everything. Having a healthy, active lifestyle is something I believe is very important and should be a staple in all of our lives. I want her, and all of the people that I coach to know that wherever you are in life you should always keep moving. She’s been next to me in her stroller, at the gym since I was cleared to work out. It’s what she knows is a part of living a healthy life, and what I strive to teach everyone. It’s what got me through several hard times in my life. Being a coach and teaching women, like my daughter, to be strong is also the most rewarding feeling and something I will be passionate about forever.
